You still did not answer Darren's question. Did you check the salinity of the 5G salt or not? If you did not and just added that water to your DT, that was not a very wise thing to do. Until the salt is completely mixed the salinity will not be accurate. The salinity in your DT did not change...

Prazipro is reef safe. You can dose it in DT. If you have any fancy worms or feather dusters then take them out. I have never dosed melafix in DT so cannot vouch for that.

I change every two weeks between reefcrest, lagoon and NTM. I also manually set to NTM everytime I feed rods food. That stuff is nasty for water :). I am ordering a Apex extension this month with PA GB to set different modes during the day.
