Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
I'm not 100% satisfied with them as of yet. I need to get my mod done so I can test. I understand that noise is a problem with some of the mod brackets. I also have an AGA 150 so I'm also concerned with the different types of tanks and the interface between the bracket and tank. If I could get...
Your right Steve, that's the kit I got. The 1200 deluxe. I've got 3 props, shroud, end-cap and a bunch of tub and rod. No shield though. I wonder why they changed up?
I didn't do the mod on the impeller yet so I couldn't test it. I haven't seen the shield but I would simply glue a guard of some sort to the shroud or pump itself to prevent the vortex. Its odd that my Vortech Pump isn't pulling a vortex and its only about 4" below the surface yet the maxi mods...

I would imagine this is where the pictures go guys. Whats taking so LONG?!?!?!?!?!
Thanks Andy and Jeane for opening your home to us reefgeeks. Fun times had by all. Tank looks great Andy!

IMO, The very easiest and convenient way is to buy the group by kits from mjmods.com. They offer all the parts pre-made (shrouds, endcaps, other) at bulk rates. And some pretty detailed directions. HTH
