Mags I don't know the answer to that. I have an old 300 watt one that's been running for 10 years. It's now a backup, it works fine still. If you do have to get a new one, get the all metal ones. My current two heaters are titanium with no thermostat, they rely on the Apex to run. It's nice...

Ok so it has a skeleton. Here is a pic with some whites on it, and a pic of it retracted into its skeleton after I poked around it.

Im wondering if it’s a baby rock flower anemone, I have rfa in the tank but they are I. A different area. Don’t rfa leave babies right next to them?

The Chromis are. Most people experience them picking each other off, I haven't so far. But my tank has a bunch of them, along with 10 of two different anthias in there. There is a lot of distractions to help keep this kind of issue down...
