I started ozone in the tank. first reading at 239. hooked it up last night. This morning its at 260. niger trigger not cured, got the second phase and looks bad.

just a thought perhaps the reason for the runaway algae is due to your lighting cycle?
some people have the light come on when D.T. lights go off.
In a 55 what portion is the fuge? percentage wise with baffles? If its all fuge I would think a tang would love it in there
It's true the inhabitants look great under t5 lighting. I'm basically using the same set up for my LRWFO tank as I am the reef. minus the halide lighting.
