Mine couldn’t handle the current, when ever the pumps or power heads were on they were out of sight aside from any that grabbed the glass.

When do they show up?

Here is pic from my tank. When I turned the pumps off they would release from the rocks and float to the surface. They moved like jellyfish. They disappeared quickly as the tank settled in and started to mature. They were gone by month 2.

Pics? New tank? Probably hydroid medusa. Check out wetwebmedia, lots of info on them. I had them early on with my current build, no big deal.
