One would imagine that a water change to drop that phosphate would be helpful. Especially if that climbed recently. Otherwise the light change does seem to be the culprit.

I target feed reef roids once a week. I turn off my power heads and decrease return pump flow for 15-30 mins so that the slime nets corals make aren't blasted off.

It seems to me that a fire shrimp might be too big since with the antennas one would eventually be around half the length of the tank. I've seen small tanks with a goby/pistol shrimp pair that were pretty cool to watch as well as once I saw a 5 gallon with some pederson shrimp and a clown goby...
