When I got mine it only ate live pods off the rocks, took a couple of weeks for it to take to frozen and another couple of weeks to take to flakes- happy and fat now

A barnacle, masked or sharknose goby or a barnacle blenny would all do well in that size tank- are you saving the halide for a larger tank?
