It's roughly $1 a pound. In the past, I've ordered live sand from over 10 different places. My sand scares me with all the pods in it. I've been thinking of adding a handfull of Mandrins to my sump. I can even give you a gallon of water from my sump and you'de be happy.

Why don't you just buy regular argonite sand and I'll give you a few pounds of live sand for free?

I can tell you want to do it right the first time. It's a slow start, but years of enjoyment when done the right way.

That would depend on what size cans or buckets you're using. In my 33gallon drum, I use pumps between 300 and 900 GPH.
