Well personally I decided to dose vodka because of my Nitrate problem. Never could get my Nitrates below 25 even with water changes. I also wanted to get more polyp extension and coloration out of my corals.

It does have oil on it....just not as much as the Valdez did!! This tanker has 950 tons of heavy oil fuel and 65,000 tons of coal. If this thing breaks up...it's going to be a HUGE disaster. It already is a huge disaster after what it's already done to the reef!!

+1....you should actually have more evaporation!!

Yeah....definitely get ball valves on those drains....you don't want to throttle the return pump back too much...you are losing a ton of flow in the process!!

I do mine water first....not for any reason accept I can use that water to top off if I have to befoe I mix the salt in.

Is the frag disk attached to a rock?? The acans should over grow the disk and begin to attach to the rock.
