I have a pearly jawfish. I had two but after almost a year of living in the tank - the second suddenly decided that the new T5 fixture was not to his liking and carpet surfed.
Now my second pearly, and the older one at that (almost 2 years) is showing very strange behavior. First it vacated...
good to hear yours are starting again. Honestly I don't mine a break!
After one feeding of cyclopeeze - the fish have colored nicely - they no longer appear "see-thru" with fat bellies.
Only in NJ folks...i am not a doctor but type II diabetes doesn't sound like such a good thing. Maybe she needs to go rent SUPER SIZE ME.

i dunno - i like the icecap LEDS, they make the corals pop at night (when the T5s are off) but I think two might be overkill. I have two now and the fish do not want to sleep...it's that bright. So I have decided to turn them off and rely solely on the single LED light I get from my tunze. If i...

i don't know how people have any time for anything else....lol.
after the reef tank, then i pamper the baby clowns (thank goodness I just reduced the number of tanks from 3 to 1 clownfish baby tank) and then the turtles (both are about 20 years old) and the kids guinea pigs which i care...
i agree. Also other wrasses (sixline) may see it as a threat and attack. My yellow coris wrasse killed my leopard....(it also didn't help that the guy wouldn't eat).
All thanks to mbodell. His suggestion to see if someone on staff wanted them. I wasn't sure but the good news here was these no longer needed live food - they were happy on the dry stuff. I'd love to get the contact info to ask them for updates on the clowns. They were not the usual size that I...
