Mike, You'll like the 12k it seems to be the best of both worlds just enough blue for the colors and growth is pretty close to running a 10K. I really don't like the 14K it's a little too blue for my taste, growth isn't that great and it seems duller than the 12K (not as bright)Hope that helps...

Mike, I have a 14k XM on my one tank the the reeflux 12'k on another if you want to come by and see the difference, I like the 12K better.

I use the epdm method, they way I sealed it at the bottom corners is by using the epoxy putty that you use to mount frags. the only thing I had to due on my other sump (40g) was use egg crate to hold the baffles in place I'll post some pic's tonight.

I run the 250's on both my systems, they can be a little bit of a pain to dial in but I am happy with them, my corals and clams are too. Can't beat the price for the reactors that's why I went with them. I couldn't afford to spend $300 + each for a reactor.
