There is other reasons to have pods not just for mandarins, the rule of thumb is to have at least 75lbs of live rock before keeping one mandarin. I plan on culturing my own with one of the bottles I get, unless you want to come to my house and pick them out of my fuge for me:) my scooter...

it's $25 a bottle 4 or more and shipping is free, I'm using one for the tank and one to start culturing my own. It cant hurt to add one to your tank, especialy if you plan on getting a mandarin or a scooter blennie.
