    If you have live sand in you're display, there's no need to buy more Live sand. I mixed mine with regular aragonite too.

    You can cut the teeth deeper, but that still might not be enough. It worked for a lot of people.

    Cheapest sand is at Home depot. $3.99 a bag. Anyone of us reefers will give you some live sand to seed it. If you're close enough to me in Middletown, I can also give you some brillo algea with tons of critters in it.

    Yes, the air leaks will cause bubbles in you're display tank. I would put a T and return some of you're water back to the sump. You don't want to restrict the flow coming from you're return pump. It will cause premature pump failure.

    Don't buy the kiln dried wood. It's too hard to work with.(too dry) It splits and cracks easy. The kiln dried would be the almost white 2x4's

    A duglas fir 2x4 is the same strength as douglas fir pressure treated lumber.

    theres a feed store in Shrewsbury that sells them for horse trofts. Seen them ther but never priced them.
