Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
I can't get there until Wednesday of next week at the earliest. The weekend is tied up with obligations already.
I'd be happy to PP the money up there for him to hold my frags until I can get them down here though.
Ice helps to remove an anemone from a rock. So does a good powerhead blowing at the foot. From there, gently tickle the foot until you "peel" it up from the rock. But just tickling it (don't pull on it).
Ritz Camera of Freehold is having a class tomorrow: Thursday: Introduction to the Digital SLR 6:30pm - 8:30pm. It would be a perfect class for you to get a great understanding of your camera.
You'd have to call them to see how much the book of tickets costs or to see if you can just buy classes...
I may not drop the ISO all the way to 50, but I'd certainly bring it down to 400 or 200 with a shot that bright to begin with. I shoot at the lowest possible ISO at all times. I just like the look of my pictures better.

Hi! And welcome to NJRC!
Tropiquarium is right off of exit 105 on the GSP. What is your ultimate destination in NJ? It will be easier to direct you to the best stores in the area if we know where you're headed.
Enjoy Trop if you go there and tell them that NJRC sent ya!
I'm not supposed to be laughing, am I? The moral of the story cracked me up (as I sat here rubbing my achilles tendon). Yowza. Hopefully it isn't as bad as it sounds and you'll be hobbling around just fine in time for the meeting.
