I had the flame angel for about 4 weeks. Completely out of no where :( Do you think I could get away with either of those wrasse in a 30? I'd also love a coral beauty but don't they require more water as well?

Just finished a thorough water change. Scrubbed all the algae with a toothbrush and basted for a while. The water column was filthy! After my water change I used filter floss to manually clean it. Everything looks super clean now! Corals are slowly opening. I see some algae that I missed...

Updates! We are cooking with water & vinegar. I added six gallons of white vinegar to sterilize the previous tank and remove any debris. I will let this run until the end of the weekend. Saltwater will begin next week. The return pump vibrates a good deal. I originally was going to add ribbed...

Ran water through the return line! No leaks... as of now. Made the line going into the pump a little short so it's not sitting right. Tomorrow I will get a coupling cut the two to add a little more height. I will paint the remaining black and we will be filled with vinegar and water to run /...

Adjustments have been made and we are off to sealing the top & bottom. Fits like a glove.

Have not decided how I'm going to finish it yet - but base structure is done which means the tank can get setup plumbed and run vinegar through it

Took everyone's advice this time around about supports. This stand can hold a 90 gallon easily ;)

Small update! one reefapalooza pickup. Need to be mindful with second tank not setup and still needing to spend money to finish it! A beautiful blue tip torch. (50 dollars) not sure I got a good deal or a bad one but it looks amazing. My cherry corals are itching to open after being h202...
