A80s in my honest opinion are under powered for a 65g tank. If you are running a similar dimension to what I have I run 2 x hydra 32s over it in comparison. While wattage does not mean anything its still a80 at 15w each vs hydra 32s at 90w each.

Definitely not going to work, they need a medium to low flow. They will never survive as they are animals and would explore the whole tank and just get blown away. If you really want to get them you would be best off dedicating a tank to them.

This is awesome. Love the idea but will the glass shelf hold the weight and pressure of the sand over time? As the mangroves grow they will take up more sand room and push against the the glass or am I over thinking this?
