The salt water he sells comes out of his big L tank. I know people that use it and they have no problems. I just find it odd that people would buy "used" water to add to their tank in a water change. Just doesn't make sense to me. One of the first things you should get is your own RO/DI unit...

I would imagine that he's selling it for 83 cents a pound because he didn't want to deal with pics and all. If you need live rock it's as good a deal as you're going to find. In most LFS' this is almost $10 a pound.
