Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
They are 130 watt lights, considering that and comparing to say a hydra 32 which is a 90watt LED and would probably cover a single 40b well. 2 of those is going to be super overkill mainly in the overlap areas so make sure you get every section covered in the par and adjust accordingly.
They should but it all depends on how well they are fed. If they are constantly being fed other food they will ignore it. I am not saying starve them just feed every other day or so. My crab was also trying to eat my anemone.
Good luck with the emeralds. I have two in my sump because they were not so model citizens. One ripped all the legs off the other one so I moved legless crab to the sump and fed him till he molted and grew his legs back. I then moved the angry crab to my sump with my frag tank which he shared...
Electric lemonade and Jason fox tnt...I also have golden rod that is growing out and should be ready to frag fairly soon. Electric Lemonade is 10 a frag and tnt is 20.
It doesn't look like its going to be a great light for dedicated. They look to be better as a replacement/competition for t5s and or Reefbrites.
This is what you really want to do honestly.
This is from AIs site showing a single 21" version on full 100% so its not putting out massive...
I assume you mean the umbrella effect on them. It happens to them sometimes and I don't really think there is an explanation to it. They will switch back to normal eventually.
