    RIP Diamond Goby

You know it's very weird.. but I have a blue spot watchman goby who is paired with a pistol shrimp. He NEVER leaves the sandbed ever. I had a big alk swing and lost the pistol shrimp... the next week the Goby was ALL over the tank including at the surface. I replaced the Pistol Shrimp and once...

Rjmul is correct it's most likely iron oxidation from the calcium within all for reef. Nothing to worry about as this is normal.

    Water Change ?

I wouldn't worry about like maximus said as long as it's not for extended amounts of time it should be fine. I have had sps hanging out of the water for a few minutes during changes.

    Dosing Pump

Even if the ssid for 2.4 and 5ghz are separated? I currently have my router setup to use one ssid to switch between dependant on distance but if they are called like wifi24 and wifi5 would that help? Asking since I am looking to get a new doser myself.

    Thoughts on Reefing Consistency

I did but before my tank really took off it sure did take a long time. I also did add fish to start up the cycle process. I am sure through frags/colonies I had purchased I was also adding a lot of good bacteria. Honestly I have noticed a bigger difference in the last few months with being...

    Thoughts on Reefing Consistency

Vermitid Snails are almost impossible to avoid. I keep a stock of bumble bee snails in my tank to keep them in check. I bet if you added some established rock you would have a major turn around.

    Thoughts on Reefing Consistency

Did you use any live rock when you started your tank or all dry rock and seeded with bacteria? I was doing some reading and found a post with a similar issue someone was having due to not using any actual live rock. Once they seeded their tank with rock from an established aquarium it was an...
