Has anyone besides me had success with these? I just realized mine is about 1 year old sometime this month,it seems every time I read about them it's bad news.Are the ones that are being collected now substandard or something?

Phyll It worked perfect with the heat. Cranked up the stove and just kept turning it and I was able to pull the fitting apart. Thanks for the help. Jim

I'm looking to change the lighting on my 150,I'm leaning towards a T5 12x80 72" light. Do you think this will penetrate down 28" to the bottom being about 6-8" off the water surface? Any ideas would be great. Thanks

On my 150 canopy inside the 3 doors is cut down to the tank rim. All the front support sits between the 3 doors and the ends of the tank and it's stable as a rock. HTH Jim

If you goto the forsale forum under 150 RR for sale mine is there with a blue back. That film stuff sounds neat but I don't know what salt creep might do to it,seems like the same principal as car window tint film.

Ok just found out he did a canopy like mine that is 16" high so the light would be I guess at minimum 12" off the water for airflow.So is 250 still an option? He also said HQI. Thanks again
