My 48" four blub is two years old. Customer service supplied me now with two new tested ballasts as mine died. They sent one and it was no good. Lots of e-mails. If that were your only light the corals would have died by now. Replacing my second ballast now that the other two lamps are no longer...

I have a blue throat trigger, lavender tang, scopus tang, eight line wrasse, and a few dwarf angels, none of which I have seen bothering any of the corals.

I am running a fuge on my 120 gallon display. During the day I get little to no polyp extension. However, other tanks I see either adding additives like the Zeo system or just plain sump adding nothing are getting large extension during the day or lighting period. I get good growth and color...

There is a battery powered air pump that also plugs into an AC outlet. When the power goes out it automatically turns on. I have had similar issues with power outages and this worked well. Less than 20 dollars from what I remember.

I have purchased from him before. He is easy to work with, has good stock and yes, very reasonable.
