Especially the one guy!
How is the interaction between the MP's and the Radions? CJ didn't even have to sync them or anything. He plugged the lights in and they took over for him. Pretty cool stuff. If only my MP's weren't synced with them too....
Hey, I think you may have a couple things going on there. Phos is still high and that will definitely mess with the SPS. Alk is getting close to being high too. When you say 5 nitrate is that 5ppm?
All depends on who you ask. Your best bet is to read up on the ones you're interested in and narrow it down a bit. To replace 4 T5s you may be best off with a couple of Reefbrite strips or something along those lines.
Soooooo, a few pics of Cj's tank. First is a partial FTS:
His new BSJ:
Chloe the Clam:
Peach Millie colony:
Pokerstar Monti
Bonsai
Pink Milli
Lastly, my favorite one. It's a "Tri-color" I got from Ocean Gallery for $20. Starting to look awesome!
I don't get why one has to be better. They're both awesome lights. Cj's Radions are one of the coolest things out there. They don't look like a light for a tank, they look like jewelry. Are they better lights then my AIs? Probably. Would I want them for my tank? Nope. I like my AIs. To me it's...
Alright, sorry for not responding to anyone yet. Brian (thermosts) came by and grabbed the 7 guys left from the die off. I think 3 or 4 are looking OK still and the rest are receding and unhappy. He's going to see if he can nurse them back to health and repair the damage I've done. Once things...
So, I have a few (5 or 6) Acan colonies (5 or 6 heads each) that have (thus far) survived the unknown Acan killer in my tank. Is it something in the water? Something picking on them? Not too sure but I've decided that the best thing to do is to rehome them. Everything else is looking great...
We all aren't what we used to be!! I remember working in the LFS and stacking tanks in the basement by myself. I'd probably throw my back out doing that now....
looking good! You're right, there's a lot of scraping to be done still. If it were me I would go buy a couple gallons of vinegar, put that thing outside, plug up the overflows and let it soak a day or 2. You'll be at it for a month with a spray bottle.....
