Before putting water in that sump I'd put up plywood or exterior sheathing to protect the sheetrock. If sheetrock gets wet, it's done!
Otherwise looking good.
Door Attachment
Going with no hinges. Don't like how most hinges rust up. In addition, if hinged, you'd have to have the room on each side of the stand to swing the doors open.
For hingeless doors I first made a jig to drill two holes in the shelf of the stand and the bottom of the doors...
I'm not sure if it's a plumber's nightmare or a Rube Goldberg....but either way, it's looking good Paul.
It's one thing if this was done 20 years ago or so when copper was cheap, but I'm now probably looking at $40-$50 in copper alone!
That's just my two cents, but I can see you've already...
I know it's been a while, but I'm finally getting around to finishing up this stand. Cut and assembled the four doors....simple framed, flat paneled doors. Got to love that Kreg pocket hole jig, makes assembly a snap.
After rounding off the outside edge and cutting the dado (a grove)...

James @JRWOHLER , the finished bracket just happens to be painted flat black:
John @jgraz , most clementine crates my wife brings home are a thin cheesy looking plywood. This solid wood one was a rare find. I have some of this thin plywood as well, and out...
Now wait one minute! Don't I have to be dead for you to inherit? Were's my lawyer? You even said "donated." So this should be Donated JBJ28!
Jon, Nice job cleaning up the canopy today. Looks good with the new caulk and paint job.
Vortech Controller Bracket
I was a bit incensed when Kevin @kschweer told me that Ecotech makes a bracket for their controllers to replace the cheesey Velcro they originally supplied. I had a little rant over on his Tale HERE (post #570) perplexed that for an expensive powerhead, they can't...
I like that bracket.....but I'm compelled to step up onto the soapbox and complain. The old MP's...well the MP40's anyway......you could mount their controllers with four little screws. Simple and great design. They then came out with these ovoid control boxes and gave you a couple cheesey...
