We have the same thing. A tree in the towns right of way that they don't want to trim that's dead/dying. In pretty much every rough storm we lose power or cable because of it. Hoping it doesn't happen again but it's almost inevitable.

I hate going to the beach as is, I can't imagine how much I would hate it if I went and "notice a brown foam covering their bodies as they get out of the surf." That would pretty much do it for me and beaches.
