Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Look around for the par postings on the various bulbs.
The UVL Aquasun and Ice Cap 10 K (since made by UVL) have good par for instance.
I have posted a few times the different links.
Then it comes to preference.

Welcome to the club.
Read a bunch of the threads in the nano forum here including those by mnat.
Will give you a good idea of what is going on.
There are a lot of crap nano skimmers..I had a fission don't waste your money.
Before you buy ask for opinions you will save a ton.
Flow with cheato will help, I have found that good flow through the cheato helps it thrive and aslo keeps the cyano to a minimum..have seen soome on the edges of my sump in warmer weather but that is it.
Very good pics...you are a rare reefer who can fit in a 45G tank. ;D
Any thought of using black pipes for your extra returns to match the rest of the tank?
So going to change one rule, if you want a frag I will bring them to the meeting and you can get there. If not I will include them in the auction section.
Thing to remember is that any fish can jump. Providing good hiding spaces/homes helps. I guess I do have a wrasse that can jump but also have a deep sand bed so that is suppose to be it's way of flight to bury itself in the sand. You are playing the odds with any fish, and if you do go for them...
I swore off known jumpers I have a 120 Tek with open top.
Lost firefish, two sharknose gobbies, and a pygmy angel.
Saved a clown early on before pairing.
All fish can jump, regular firefish are a cheaper mistake is my only suggestion.
I suppose that I could look through them all but since they are in the members only section there are some non paying members who cannot find that out. Personally to improve communication wouldn't it make sense to list them. Or are we trying to keep them a state secret? ;D
Due to my bad habit of cleaning the tank, or being really clumsy.
Montipora capricornis
Orange Scrolling Montipora Corals often grow in interesting shapes and whorls while attaching an encrusting base on rock. Orange Scrolling Montipora Corals are found in virtually every ocean in the world...
