Isn't that similar to joe's juice and aiptasia-x, in essence filling a syringe with the contents and squirting it in the anemone? I dunno - I have no experience as I was lucky none hitched into my tank...or maybe those peppermints I perceived to be useless actually did something...lol.

Couples things to watch for: 1) the items picked up may not be suitable to your tank because of the temperature differences. In essence, something in the bay endures random temp when comparing winter and summer. It may survive for a while in warmer waters - but you are in essence accelerating...

there was some thread or other talking about the fact that LR supplies out of the pacific were extremely limited. At least you were able to get some with some colors you liked (albeit not the shape).

Just heads up - be sure the butterfly is okay at the LFS - they tend to be fragile and poor shippers - the copperbands at least...and those are the type you'll need to get for aiptasia. That stated - why not try Joes Juice? A butterfly may end up picking on your other corals too.

That is pretty strange! Be careful if an animal that normally would run comes at you. Last thing you want is for your dog to get bite by an animal infected with rabies.
