I have used it I the past and still a little here and there. Everything seems to react pretty well to it. I usually feed it when the lights are dimming down or right as they go out. I prefer reef roids from polyp lab but they seem to be a bit harder to find.

+1. Always glue flex PVC. It's not meant tone used with barbed fittings.

They make tri-fuel carbs for most brands of generators. When I find the money for one ill most likely put one on it. Would be nice to have the options especially if gas stations don't have power or there are long lines like after sandy.

Not sure how far you are from toms river but James Castel at tattooville does great work. He does me, my brother and my brothers fiancé. Also just about everyone at white lotus in toms river does great work. One guy there mike didia does some amazing stuff.

+1 to the above comments. I would not reduce the drain line and if possible have the water return to the sump above water level in the sump. With the drain under water in the sump you will have some back pressure which can also lead to the gurgling.
