I was generously given a box of corals from joe knows reefs after hurricane sandy, and included was a piece if what was labeled WWC grafted cap. It came in with no green and still has no green pigment to it. My question is do you guys think it will develop over time? Or will it remain red?
Alk is 18 or is that a typo? I would stop dosing all together at this point and do frequent water changes with a quality salt. I do 10% weekly and have to dose very little if at all.
Another good way of getting rid of them is to agitate the aptasia until it closes up into the rock and put a dab of superglue gel over where it went into. I have done this for the occasional aptasia in the past and its worked great.
Sorry for your troubles man. If it is really out of control it might not be a bad idea to go lights out for a little while to try and get the upper hand on it. Other than that I would keep doing what you are doing, it will pay off sooner or later. Tanks can be a real PIA sometimes but when...
