Marco rock is Fiji or Tonga rock. and turns live quickly. 75 Marco and 50 live would to perfect. Just make sure you cook the live rocks first so you have no hitch hickers.
Oceanic tanks are the best non custom tanks on the market. if you go to a LFS and pick up a Oceanic and a All Glass or Perfecto you can tell the difference. Oceanics are way heavier. But the price is alot more for Oceanic. PS oceanic and All Glass are now the same company. The reason I went with...
couldn't agree more John. I also got 150 pounds for my 265. The reason I got Marco Rocks is because I saw the display at MCANA and man they look cool after a few months of cycling. IMO all tanks need a few months to be truely ready to be a reef tank.

265s range from 1250 to 1500 from perfecto. Custom tanks are more like 3000 to 4000

If you want live rocks two local stores have cheap nice rocks. One is Allquatics and the other is The Hidden Reef.
I have an Ocean Runner needle wheel on my DIY skimmer it kicks a@@ I'm not sure of the model but it is simlar to this one.

Thats a cool program and Plan. We are in the final stages of our basement project. It has been a every expensive past 6 months. But the end results are starting to turn out really nice. If you ever want to stop by for ideas let me know.
how do you make them grow. My friends are freking out. I gave them hundreds of dollars in corals and these eggs are making them more happy than a 120 gallon tank full of corals.
