Good question I suppose...so if you use a cutting board do you think it would be safer. I would assume something used for food prep would have to have more controls built in. Of course you know what they say about assuming.

Yep they are. Expensive if you are buying from LFS though.

I don't know the exact number...I think it sort of depends on the total number...10 would not be bad if you had less of some of the others. The rough number I have heard is one snail per gallon but to me that is excessive. I think if you had 25-30 different snails and crabs total that would work...

I would say that it was just the natural coat that the fish has and it was visible....maybe your floors were dusty :P.

You did a good job of getting fish with the same temperment. Maybe you will be lucky and not have any problems.

Hey here are the pics!!! Nice job. I would go with Mike on getting the calupra algae out....once you lose control of it it can be a pain to starve it out of existance...especially in a nano...speaking from experience. ::) There are some other algaes that would be nice, shaving bush, halimeda...

A bicolor pseudocromis will holds its own ...so would a clown ...if it looks like a fight is brewing try to redoing the rocks.

Boy you think everyone dislikes damsels? Which ones did you get there are a couple "nicer" ones? Clowns are closely related so they are a possibility. Dwarf angels, pseudocromis, and maybe some bigger type fish. I think you need to decide what kind of tank you would really like to have. If...

Well you could order one new for about 140 during our next PA group buy or just buy a new collection cup for about 30 bucks. I don't know anything about this skimmer though it looks like good ratings overall.
