Hey guys I'm looking for a drive for my led fixture. The only info on it is 80-130v 520 ma. I'm having a tough time finding one. Any ideas where to look? If I can find one I may get something dimable. Thanks in advance.
The tank is opti-clear glass all around which is just like starfire its a low-iron glass. I have heard that low-iron glass is "softer" making it a little more difficult to get a nice hole in. Looking at the list from deep blue it says the back and bottom are not tempered and drillable. This...
Thanks for all the info guys. I'm glad you guys have confidence in me cause I certainly don't...lol. I appreciate all the help. I really want to go the glass holes route that overflow just takes up to much real estate in a tank that is already on the small side. Does any one have any...
How did you go about making the overflow smaller? The guy I saw do it cut the whole overflow out and cut it down. I also saw one where a guy cut out the original overflow and built a new one from acrylic.
So I have bounced this idea of the glass holes box off a few people and the one thing that stood out is that some are saying that "starfire" glass does not drill well. I know they don't use "starfire" but the glass they use is similar. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
Thanks Paul. Kinda figured it wouldn't work out. Not sure if you saw my new build thread but I'm looking into doing a glass holes overflow. Would you maybe be able to help me out if I come up your way. I know you've used them before and I have no real experience with installing them
I really have no idea. Between work, life and getting money together I don't really have a time line. I'm hoping to at least get it started this month.
It's a 57 by deep blue. According to their website the back panel is not tempered.

So not much has gone on with this build. Still trying to get all the planning done and more importantly get the funds together. I saw a thread on another site about someone with the 57 rimless who removed the overflow box and cut it down so it wasn't so big. I really like this idea and it got...
Hey guys I just got some replacement LEDs for my Chinese fixture (blueline 120w) and I figured since it is apart can I add 2 potentiometers? Any feedback would be great
Thanks

Although I'm not a huge fan of the store, aquarium center has I believe the 650 set up and it is very nice. Maybe if you're ever in the area go check it out.
I would have your levels checked by another reefer so you know the readings are correct. Especially with your calcium, those hanna calcium checkers have been known to give some incorrect readings.
