Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
That one is Brick I have been into and there stock actually looks healthy. Generally the fish are sick and the employees have no idea what they are talking about.
Mg is not as important, I would be testing Alk first and Calc second. The reason I said to test over a few weeks is that you don't want your parameters to swing. Your numbers should be in a decent range right now but if they swing over the days or weeks that is what is going to stress your...
The curse of the reefer always looking to do more. :) If the fish, softies, and nems are doing well I would probably leave it alon for a while. I would want to get the phosphates in check but you don't need to go crazy. As Jim said get some test kits and start to monitor your alk and calc...
Before I had my reactors setup I had the GFO in the return pump section. If you are going to jam it into the baffles in your sump just be careful that it does not over flow or the water volume does not get too low in the return pump area. As other mentioned the key is you want to get as much...

From Wetwebmedia:
<From what I can see, your little snail looks very much like a predatory Whelk known as Gemophos tinctus, aka the Tinted or Painted Cantharus. Information can also be found on the ‘net/elsewhere under several obsolete names, including Pollia tincta and Cantharus tinctus. These...
Phil I understand what you are saying, but certain fish should not be put in certain sized tanks. If they are, as the study confirms, this will lead to more aggression of the fish which can lead to death, stress, and disease. In your example a jawfish can be kept in a 30g tank, however a blue...
No idea on replacement, I think it comes down to each unit and the wear that gets put on it.
I just fell a little more in love with mine. I bought a new wireless one that I run on my 57g and upraded and old mp20 to a wireless mp40 that is now running on the 45g. They actually talk to each...
