Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Yeah, been about a week with the new water and sand. Was hoping for experiences of 'Sure! Its all good', but expecting advice to hold off a bit. Thanks for the reply, you've confirmed what I was thinking and I'll give it a few months.
I've bought most of my stock from ACC. I tend to drip acclimate for an hour or so, then empty half the water and continue the acclimation for another 2 hours. Of all the fish I picked up from them most are still going strong. A recent purchase of a purple firefish didn't go to well, as even...
No worries on the plankton. I've got it bottled and labelled and am selling it through a couple of shops, plus I'm planning to get up off my arse within the next 2 weeks and begin selling on ebay/craigslist. I'm a horrible businessman so as I know you I'll send you some on the cheap, drop me a...

So, is the tank now...
I had a lawnmower blennie a while back and loved his curiosity. He'd sit on his rocks watching me as I watched him. Unfortunately I was pretty meticulous in maintenance, too meticulous I think, and he went bladder up. Once the new tank is established a bit more, I'll pick up another.
The rest...

About the size of a tennis ball. Love it, but I put a lot of tall arches in the new 90 build, hate to see one come down onto the glass.
