Hawkeye, T5's most of these pieces were under a 4x24w current nova. Now it's all under a 8x54w Tek light. The Grinch was one of my first nice monti's. I got it last year at the swap from Jason fox. Grew fast.

My biggest concern was not really the valve sticking but that the pump would put too much at once. My pump is very small but usually is on/off many times each day. I use a back up valve to shut down just in case

Ecambero, that was the way i was thinking about doing it. Besides the threat of valve sticking are there any other concerns with doubt it this way. Jim do you top off manually thought the day. From what I've read you simply mix it. But only use the clear water that remains afterwards.

My height is 36" and my corner supports are 29". So those are good. Width is fine also. Only question I have is the width. Did you mean to type 24.5"? Cause 21.5" ain't gonna cut it.

How long since the last sighting? When I had one it was fine until the addition of a Kole. After that it would go into hiding for days at a time. A few times it was gone for a week or more then it would show up again. Finally it went missing for over a month and never saw it again.

Actually is resting on the outer edge of the 1.5" as opposed to more or less dead center. At no point is it ever jeopardized. It's still sitting on a level stand capable of holding a tank. Either way is fine and will work. I did it that way for two reasons one I wanted to trim around the tank...
