I just place a 3rd order from marine depo.
I don’t think I have ever purchased anything from them before. I think I have enough GFO and carbon for a year
I have gyres in a lot of my tanks. I always set them at random flow and the highest setting. When I clean them I make sure to change the flow pattern and direction of the pump
@brokereefer was kind enough to give me a nano tank that he wasn’t using. It’s a 10 gallon JBJ. It came fully loaded with everything including lights. ( compact t5)
This is my first nano tank. I will set it up as a coral qt tank
And fish observation tank.
I will add water today from the main...
I was able to pick up my meat coral yesterday.
My lights haven’t come on full yet. I wait to get a par measurement. I might have to move it for it to get more par.
I placed it in a dark corner of the tank. 30” down on the sand. It’s getting 100 par so I will leave it and see what happens.

ACC and ocean gallery drill tanks for their clients.
You can also go with something used that’s already drilled.

You could keep using the skimmer/reactors/controller you already own on the frag tank.
If possible you can move the sump to the basement and set up a...
I am also cleaning my wavemakers.
I put them in a bucket with vinegar and hot water
For a few hours for each pump. I use mostly
Jebao wavemakers and they work for my setup.
I have been using vinegar to clean pumps for years.
I have never lost a pump so at $2 a bottle it’s my go to.
So I lost power on Wednesday for a few hours.
We had a tree down. It happened at 3am.
I have a generator so I was able to get my return pumps
Back working.
When the power came back on. I noticed one of my
Eb832 wasn’t working. It’s the same one that gave me problems before. I was going to...
