Yeah I have one to dose kalk into my system. You can buy it at Walmart and not have to Pay for shipping.

You could run filter Sox and put the filter floss in the Sox. You could remove the filter floss and change the Sox as needed. The problem with filter floss Is that it allows a lot detritus to get by.

Soak it in vinegar. That sump might be too small For a 300 gallon tank. You need to make sure you can hold the water that’s returning from plumbing and over flow when the return pump is off.

Your corals will consume the alk naturally. So you just wait for it to drop to the range you like.

I like to keep alk at 8 it give me a little room if something goes wrong.
