anyone use the following? or thoughts? Amazon.com : CPR Aquatic AquaFuge 2 Small Hang-on Back Refugium w/ Pump, LED Light & Stand : Pet Supplies I was just looking at my canister filter and ideally I should replace the hoses and return/intake but if I would to spend that much I could spend a...
following cause I was thinking of doing this on my 36g build.
Now note I had some mangroves on my 54g and had them right in the tank. My plan was to have them 'cover' my overflow which my wife thought was ugly (all the coreline algae). They are slow growing plants and mine never really took...
I had two nems in my tank and with my 36g I am thinking of going mainly nems in there. Like @trio91 I have a soft spot for nems. I also agree the 1 year mark seems extreme but do understand it. I would at least wait 6 months before adding a nem to any tank. Now both of my nems were bubble...
Even though your numbers might check out it may be different than the tank you got him from and he is just adjusting. Also what light are you using compare to where he came from?

Now I'm thinking...

Yea I understand that, again reason I am more thinking 2 than 4. Depending how things go I might look at the more special clowns and get two of those in hope they pair up. I always liked the black ice ones (i think that the name of them)
I read the same thing about clowns; one of the reasons I am more thinking 2 than 4. In old tank I had two false clowns that paired up. I had them for about a year but they wouldn't go anywhere near my nems. I decided to try a tomato clown out. The tomato went right into the nem but then both...
Ok I was thinking more about stocking my tank last night/this morning. This is what I think I am going to do
2 - 4 clowns (more leaning to the 2 side but like seeing fish swim around)
1 - 2 banggai cardinal (only if I go with 2 clowns)
some macro like dragon breath or something like that...
