The placement of all corals is subjective.Lighting, flow requirements listed are guides, not fact. I find what works for one persons tank may not be the same for mine. My corals will always find themselves moved around several times before I find their ideal place.

Why don't you test your waters TS. I have a three stage unit excluding the Ro membrane. Works just fine and never had the need to pay for more. Hell, I even have well water and you have seen my tank! If you want 2 carbon units the first is a 5 micron filter and the second a 3 micron filter...

That is my understanding. I have an older blue/white Chinese version that has no lens and was 120 degree optics.
