With the advent of the cold snap and decreased humidity....the wood is drier and contracts/shrinks, does this factor into the floor deflection. Maybe with shrunken wood of some part you do not have the intimate contact to disperse said weight. Thinking if it was hot and humid over time outside...

Well Paul my mother was and amazing artist versed in many mediums. I a good art critic with basic skills. Thanks, and yes they are the large ones have 9 lbs of holding strength. But like I said they are entombed in a thick heavy duty plastic. Never had issues nor signs of corrosion/cracks.
I used a fork and tooth brush to add texture so as the coral encrusts it will really fuse to the mount. Also once coraline starts it will look even better. Cost for all my clay14$, magnets, special large with 10 lb weight hold @ 5$ a piece. Cost to fire.....6 pack of some Belgian ale/ 9% alc;)...
