So guys I 'mounted' the power strip. I picked up these command strips so my wife could hang some picture frames. I never thought about it until the other day to try these on the power strip. What's nice is they should come off cleanly when I go to move but hold nicely. Also I can pull off...

I had a frogspawn but lost it. I now have a hammer and a torch. The hammer been in my tank longer than the torch; I got my torch from @art13 not too long ago. The hammer is growing but slowly. The touch seems to be doing ok but I been focusing on other issues and not really watching it...
The colors will different from tank to tank. It all depends on lighting and other elements in your tank. Prime example is while at @HerbieK house for the December meeting I noticed one of his SPS had two different coloration. I over heard two other members point it out and point our how that...
that would had sucked man. Glad you were near the tank. One of the reason why I like the skimmer in a sump because if it does overflow it overflow inside the sump. Now that it own issue but at least your not flooding your floors or burning the house down.
Living in an apartment I did not want to 'install' my RO/DI unit. Each time I need to make water I hook up the unit to my bathroom sink and fill buckets up. Now the adapter I was using doesn't make a tight seal so at times water sprays out the connection point. Normally I can get it tight...
@jose7878 you luck out that the power pulled on it before hitting the water or that could had been bad. Now because we deal with saltwater you might want to take that light apart again and make sure its nice clean/dry because the salt could eat at the wires. You could also dump it in a bag...
Agree with Paul but I *knock on wood* never had to do any copper treatments. To be safe I would clean it as Paul said above and then run it in a bucket of water or something for awhile and test the water with a copper kit just to make sure its copper free
Yea I'm not sure how it would act either nor if it would hold up to saltwater. Good luck and hopefully it works. I am having an issue with my float value sticking to the wall of my sump. I think I got it on there good now but lately I been finding it floating and therefore not keeping my...
@redfishbluefish Paul have you thought about maybe heat wrap? Not sure how it would work but could help give a nice protection layer between the wire and water
Paul I don't have the PP models but the older RWs. By what I am seeing they are basically same just the PPs are they newer model. My RWs been running for over a year with no issues. About every 6months I take them out, put them in a bucket of hot water and vinegar, turn them all the way up for...
