Hello I would stay away from the Neptune salinity probe. They are notorious for being out of calibration. I would buy the new Hanna salinity checker. Or anything else but Neptune apex salinity probe. But if you do buy it buy it new. That way at least you have a warranty.

Get an urchin or a sea hare. They will clean your tank no algae. That’s way too much food.

Algae is normal and it’s in every tank. You might be feeding too much or too much light. Do you have a clean up crew ? Snails/crabs/urchins. Do you have any algae eating fish ? Fox face/ tang/ blennies

Yes Brian @ reefco is very good. I think he has some of the best selection of frags. Very clean shop. But even he will tell you fish ain’t his thing. If you never been you should definitely go. It’s only open on the weekends but it’s worth a trip from anywhere.

You may want to lift the egg crate a little more. That way you can have a lot of flow under the frags. You will also add fish putting it a little higher will allow tangs/wrasses a place to hide.
