    I have used Tunze since day one both the full and nano versions. Recently changed to AutoAqua SmartATO ($55) and very happy with the switch. Quieter, a lot less wire, optical sensor, shuts down if water pump is running more than 2 mins. I don't trust any ATO. I have a Wyze cam pointing at it...

    Kalkwasser at night time!!

    I did co2 scrubber it was more effective for a smaller tank. Large tank it will be too expensive to change the media. Kalk dosing is a little messy for me and I no longer have the space for it.

    Remove tangs before adding a CBB. Get it to eat well and fat before adding other fish.

    Yes. The effect is quite noticeable. I got more growth running co2 scrubbers.

    Not dino. Probably hair algae. In my case very painful to get rid of. I eventually did Flex Rx and fixed the problem.
