It really depends if you went with a proper/oversized UV. If so you will notice clearer water, less green film algae growth, and less or no fish parasites. If it’s undersized it’s a waste of money and effort. You won’t see any benefits.

I get the biota ones for $150. Honestly can’t tell the difference between these and wild ones after they’ve been in the tank for a month or 2.

That’s what I thought lol. Something with pvc gate valves that no one seems to have. I have one on order from bulk reef supply coming next week, but I freed up today and tomorrow and was trying to get a plumbing job done. Oh well. Maybe I’ll use a ball valve for now and swap out later.

What size ext? I have the 200 and I'm currently running 2xmp40, 1xmp60, and 2 Jebao180 gyres. Tank is BB though. This would kick up a sand bed.

Got this one from Pieces of the Ocean called "outer world"

it was $120 for the pl which looked a little thin skinned, and I think $75 for RP which were chunky nice frags.
