Mmm… wondering if I can fit a few more in…. Oh, wait a minute… they just split… BTW... There are 2 clowns in this tank. Neither has ever been in any of them.

    Sea Hare

Have some algae so I'm considering. Is this a smaller guy that will work in a nano, or is it a Kaiju variety?

Beautiful dog in your pic. Pattern sort of looks like my blue heeler, but obvioulsly it isn't.

Petco Brick is upping their saltwater game, looks good.

Yeah, unfortunately Andrew retired. :( Fortunately his successor is also a knowledgable salt water guy. :)

Petco Brick is upping their saltwater game, looks good.

So, hit up Petco in Brick yesterday. Prices, as with everywhere else, are nuts on livestock, it seriously is getting ridiculous. I really think that this hobby is going to generate home breeders at some point (though Eric has the head start on that (E - Clownfish are doing fantastic!))...

Eshopps overflow box question (new frag tank)

I've used these very often in the past, they're solid. In 10+ years never had a tank overflow and the siphon starts up clean after power outs. You seem to be looking at the PF300, which is the nano version and you're looking at a complete water turnover about 6x per hour. Personally I'd jump it...

    Snail Sale

So, was tired of paying $4+ for tiny snails (if I could find them), so I ordered a bulk of nice sized ceriths. Lots of excess. Doing 5 for $10. Willing to do coral or invert trades (small to medium hermits, shrimp, crabs, other snails). All have been trained to do taxes. In Brick 08724. Drop...

    Anyone got a pickle?

Bob, Apparently, if you cut a pickle and put it under UV light, it looks like the pic above. Unfortunately I didn't have a pickle last night or I would have cranked up my 'UV' settings to see what would happen.

    Anyone got a pickle?

Apparently this is what they look like when UV hits them. Guess what I'm doing when I get home? If it works, I may start putting them in my tank.

Looking for old overflow box (no siphon)

Confused on this but I’m an idiot at the best of times. Do you mean you want an overflow box to mount inside the tank for bulkheads that go through the tank wall? I have an Eshopps hob you’re welcome to but it does have the u bend siphon (I’ve run these for 10 years and never on e had a problem).

    I can't believe this

Interesting. I was ignorant of this. Cool info. On a separate note, I do have to defend some of the other ‘shadier’ sellers. I purchased a plastic reproduction of the Great Wall 8 years ago, placed it on the front lawn, and have managed, in that time, to avoid any and all Mongol attacks on the...
