The Sohal that trigger got is stunning!! Saw it last night!!

Here are several pictures of some of the colonies John has for sale...They look much better in person....I am really bad at picture taking. And if you go to see them, you can see him gorgeous new Sohal Tang!!

So float them upside down in a deep container?

I'd think the ballons would pop. I would leave them on the rocks...then you can fill in all the spaces with other rocks to stop them from moving around in the container. Were you going to run a pump and heaters while driving?

This is a tough one....I'd think big containers, with the colonies, surrounded by...foam maybe??

Move them from where to where?? If it's a simple move in the house from tank to tank....buckets will work. If it's a move from say....house to house, I'd get big rubbermaid bins, put them in there and support them with other rocks...then I'd drive really slow!! ;)

I know tangs are very susceptible to Ich...but that doesn't mean a store that is going to sell these fish, should not take the proper steps in treating these fish!! The aquarium hobby already has a bad rap...and it's because of big stores like Petco that the fish a dwindling in the wild!!

The magnets on the impeller...right?? Because I couldn't figure out a way to open up the pump.

That sounds similar to what happened with mine....The pump would be running...the water would start to raise, but then would stop and not go anywhere.

My impeller was pretty bad. It would stop spinning and everything. The rubber ends fell off...it was really bad!! Some LFS do have it, but I found it to be cheaper online. They are about 50 bucks, which is ridiculous!! There really isn't any way to know if it is the impeller or not. Why do you...
