    Snow!

Sunny, I'm just going by what Channel 7 News is saying. I just shoveled a path in anticipation of the delivery and I'd say we have five to six inches.....and appears to be lightening up.

    Palytoxin Poisoning First Aid

Nice write up on palytoxins....and reminder for those who have zoas and plays. The one time I got hit was when I was trying to net a fish, and my hand was zooming around the tank. I didn't pay close attention, but the back of my hand was hitting into palys. A couple hours later I had welts...

    Snow!

Watching the morning news our potential totals have been upped to 18 inches. Tracking my packages, all are "Out for delivery." I can't believe they're making these guys drive in this, let alone walking these packages up to the front porch and dropping them.

12 foot long shallow reef build

When treating with copper, a number of fish loose appetite. It's also a new fish getting use to its surroundings. Just keep an eye on them.

    Inherited 90

It seems like I've had too much equipment crapping out on me lately. I guess it's the issue with having an old tank. Tonight a double wammy. ATO: I walk into the fish room and I see the water line on my sump is about an inch below the "line." My first though is the Tom's Aqualifter...

Wow, James and now you? Is there something in the saltwater that causes intestinal problems? Or is it the sausages? Hoping for a quick recovery.....I see a whole bunch of fiber in you diet.

Any experince with Reef Glass Nano Skimmers

Without question you can DIY a wood air stone skimmer.....and there are a load of DIY videos showing how to do it with plastic water bottles that actually have a skimmer cup on the top. The issue with wood air stone skimmers is that the air stone needs to be cleaned/replaced frequently and the...

Small isopod, hit it with a dip

I just clicked on the "Here's the end result," and it looks like it's a tank of large isopods, and they are using the captured sharks to feed them.

    Majano Wand

Bob that's an unbelievable price! I'll also state that there is a great feeling of satisfaction as you push that button and watch that little SOB dissolve in those bubbles. It helps if you also have an evil laugh at the same time. :highly_amused:

    ReefKeeper I-Temp Probe

The only one written in stone is a Long Nose Yellow Butterfly. I didn't even know I had an aptasia problem until this guy died. Never say one because he'd eat them. I now have maybe 50 or more. So the new guy will be fed well for some time. I'd also like a dwarf angel.....I had a Coral...

    ReefKeeper I-Temp Probe

I'm in the process of setting up this RKL on my Quarantine Tank and must admit, the Basic ReefKeeper Lite is the ideal controller for a QT tank. It has four outlets, just enough for the lights, powerhead, filter and heater. And the simplicity of setting it up can be beat!
