I have them in a cross flow area. Obviously not changing the pink location as it feeds well with coral candy or other and is getting growth. S[ril will be two years with the pink. May try putting the green in a calmer area next. see how it responds.

You can drain the tank down on a water change day and use a kit to polish the area. Only word of caution performing scratch removal on a full or partially full tank is if you use a power tool and the glass became too hot it could break. There are you tube videos on doing a partially full tank...

unfortunately you have pets. so a carpet surfer could quickly disappear...along with any evidence. Sorry to hear.

I was thinking the same thing. A day or two then into the salt after a shower didn't seem right. Did one piece for a week in 10% bleach. Soaked overnight with pumps on in fresh, then let air dry for a few weeks before I started the salt curing.
