You can put the sand and rock in now. Your best bet is to put the rock in first, then add the sand. You can put your fuge online any time after that.

When you get close to the sand bed, sand may get trapped in the magnet. It will scratch the glass if you dont get it out. The best way to avoid this is to...not go near the sand! ;) You just have to be really careful not to stir up the sand when you are cleaning near the bottom of the tank.

I (meaning Deb when she food shops ;) ) always get Nori at the supermarket. Make sure it's not salted or anything. It should be labeled as Toasted Nori. It's much cheaper than the pre packaged stuff. Hope that helps!

Since my nitrates are .05 with a Salifert Kit, I would say I'm doing alright. :)

FWIW I run my tank without any filter sponges or socks, I just let it all fly around in there...more stuff to skim out, maybe some more stuff for the corals to eat...That's what I would like to think anyway! :)

Tom, Tool menu #2 on the camera (the one to the far right) Go to clear settings and select Clear all camera settings. That should do it

No, You don't have to run the sponges. It's probably a better idea anyway.
