Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Thanks Tripsie.
Jazz, I don't regret switching from MH to T5's one bit. Took a little while getting used to the new look but well worth it in my opinion.
Just some piece of plastic I got from a guy in the club.
I can't believe the growth I'm getting with the T5's. Much more than I ever got with the halides. It was definitely worth the investment.
BTW, that's your ridge frag in the middle of the second pic between the 2 leathers.
Thanks John. I hope things continue to fill out more. I couldn'e believe the growth until I looked back at the January pics.
Even the "sticks" I got at Billy's meeting last week have great PE already. It's the longest I've ever kept any SPS in the tank.
Gotta plug a good thing everytime you can.
I believe the problem comes from silicone not adhereing to acrylic as well as it does to glass. As long as it is in sump and there is no large amount of pressure on the acrylic, silicone will hold it in place. Scuff up the edges of the acrylic and it will give the silicone something to hold onto...
Definitely one that will be hard to beat. It was amazing how many people we had crammed into Billy's house.
Billy, thank you to you and the Mrs for hosting a fabulous meeting. Your set ups looked fantastic.
Matt,
Not sure where you are, but Aquarium Discount on Rt 73 in Marlton has some cheap prices on tanks. He was the cheapesy I found when I got my 70 gallon Oceanic.
Greg, does it actually take the frozen pieces? That would make keeping one a lot easier. I have a perfect tank for a pair, but don't want to have to keep buying stars all the time.
Giag require a HUGE tank. They can reach sizes of 3 foot in lenght. Also once they start getting over a foot or so, they don't handle being moved well at all.
