I have an Elegance coral I bough last year from Aquatic Obsessions. It was doing great fully extended etc. Now I notice its closed / shrunk and not sure why. Any thoughts?

Nice. I would buy the cheato but it dies in my sump after a few months. Always wanted to cultivate the worms but my wife would freak if I put them in the fridge. When we dated I kept frozen mice / rats in the freezer for my son's snakes. She would nit eat anything out there. Lol

I think its a Black cardinal fish but not sure.

I can take everything but the clown; I have 3 clowns to many. If you include family I can't count that high.

Nems will split and depending on type can be quickly or slowly. Also, nems tend to wander around the tank. If you add coral check daily as you may have to move them away from the nem.

I have a 30g cube with 1 clown, 1 starry blenny and 1 mandarin. Also, have a large black widow nem. The nem split and killed a few small coral colonies so be careful.

The clowns will be the bullies, especially if they lay eggs.

The main one one top seems to be splitting on the top of the other rock. Then I can chisel it off.

My only concern is the livestock. Clowns, gramma with firefish not good. Think the firefish would get bullied.

Anyone have suggestions to remove this nem without breaking the rock?

I used to buy it in Joanne Fabrics when on sale and would last a year. Sadly, that store is out of business but was acquired by Hobby Lobby. I am curious if they will sell it and how much.
